Illinois Federation of Teachers endorses Rep. Sims for re-election to the Illinois House

The Illinois Federation of Teachers has endorsed Rep. Sims for re-election to the Illinois House from the 34th House District. This endorsement by the IFT is a signal to Illinois voters that, as an elected official, Rep. Sims takes his responsibility to impact public education and vital public services seriously.

"This endorsement expresses to the membership of the IFT that Rep. Sims will serve as a partner in finding the best solutions to the challenges facing our professions," said Toby Trimmer, Director of Political Activities for the IFT.

The IFT is a statewide organization of over 103,000 teachers, educational workers, state employees and dental hygienists throughout Illinois.
